Northowram Methodist Church is a warm and welcoming
church community. Church membership covers a wide age range of people
who strive to be “people of God”
The members of Northowram Methodist Church invite you
to Sunday morning worship each week at 10.30am. Junior Church (for
children aged 3 and upwards) meets at 10.30am. each Sunday. There is
a crèche for younger children.
There is a monthly prayer meeting on the first Saturday
of the month starting at 9.30a.m.
The building has disabled access and toilet facilities, a stair lift
and a loop system for hearing aid users.
Darby and Joan
The Darby and Joan Club meets each Tuesday afternoon.
Shibden Women's Institute
Meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month at
7.30 pm.

Ladies Guild
Open to ladies of any age, the Ladies Guild meets on the first Wednesday
of each month at 2pm. There are regular speakers.

Flower Club
Flower Club meets on a Thursday morning for demonstrations and a “hands
on” session of flower arranging. The group meets for blocks of
six weeks at intervals throughout the year.

The Young At Heart Group is for men and women aged
55 or over. It meets on a Monday morning between 9.30am. and 12.30pm.
The group enjoys games, activities and fellowship.

Luncheon Club
Luncheon Club for the over 60s meets every Wednesday at 12.30pm. Members
enjoy a two
course meal in the company of others from the village. Places are limited.
