Rev. Francis Neil

I am married to Denise and we have three children, Matthew(13), Lewis
(9) and Ellie (7).
I grew up in Durham where I worked in the Civil Service and Denise was
a Primary School Teacher.
Following a brief time in Telford, Shropshire we moved to Merseyside
where I worked in Liverpool and Denise in
Southport. We lived in Southport and our home church was Liverpool Road
Methodist Church in Birkdale.
We returned to Durham in 2003 so that I could undertake Foundation Training
and subsequently pro-ministerial training at The Wesley Study Centre
which as part of St John's College in Durham University.
I was stationed as a probationer in 2003 in the Ecclesall Circuit in
Sheffield, received into full connexion in Blackpool and ordained at
Blackburn Cathedral in 2007.
As part of my probationer studies I completed a part time post-graduate
degree through Cliff College, Manchester
University in 2009.
We arrived here in August 2010 and are continuing to settle in to the
area, We are thankful for the welcome we have received and are looking
forward to discerning how together we can deepen our discipleship and
proclaim Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit giving glory to
God,
